Parking
We offer two hours of free parking for all Kingsmead facility users, with four hours of free parking available for Premium Members. Accessible parking bays are located close to the entrance to ensure easy access for all visitors.
Public Transport
Reaching us by public transport couldn’t be easier. There is a bus stop situated directly outside Kingsmead, providing frequent local services. Canterbury West train station is just a 12-minute walk away, making the centre simple to reach from across Kent and beyond.
Changing Places Facility
Kingsmead is proud to offer a Changing Places certified facility, providing extra space, specialist equipment, and a safe, dignified environment for visitors with complex needs. This ensures that everyone can access our changing and toileting facilities comfortably.
Pool Access
All swimmers can enjoy the water safely and independently thanks to our advanced Pool Pod 3 system. This state-of-the-art platform provides smooth, dignified entry into the pool, offering an inclusive experience for wheelchair users, those with limited mobility, and anyone who may struggle with steps or ladders.
