The Tri Series is well over halfway through it’s events for this year, with four Go Tri events already completed and two remaining at Kingsmead and Herons respectively. The Active Life Oysterman Triathlon took place on Sunday 18th June with a record number of 209 registered entries of which 73 individuals were taking part in their first ever Triathlon. Many of these newbies had started with a Go Tri either earlier in the year or in last year’s Go Tri events. Apart from two, everyone completed the course, with the fastest time coming from local team Adalta, who completed the course in 01:01:53 and completed their hat-trick having won the team honours in the previous 2 years.
