Training for a Triathlon?

If you are looking to gear up for one of the GO TRI events or you are training for a bigger event, there is something on offer for you. There are regular weekly Triathlon specific training sessions at Herons
Leisure Centre run in house with Triathlon England Level 2 Qualified coaches.
- Saturday 11.30am-12.30pm in the Pool (Herons Leisure Centre)
- Sunday 11.15am-12.15pm in the Pool and Cycle Studio (Herons Leisure Centre)
In addition, all swimming pools have group cycle classes, plenty of lane swimming and running clubs (apart from Kingsmead Leisure Centre) during the week. For more information see the Active Life Triathlon Club Facebook group.
Triathlon Training Days
In 2016 there will be an Open Water Triathlon Training Day in the summer on Saturday 2nd July. The session is £20 but if you are participating in either the Active Life Surf ‘N’ Turf Aquathlon or the Active Life Oysterman Triathlon you are entitled to a free place (subject to availability). The training days are being run by Triathlon England level 2 coaches to support people looking to do their first triathlon.
The training day will run from 9am to 1pm and cover all 4 elements of a triathlon, including open water swimming.
