Major Investment in New Gym Facilities at Kingsmead
As part of its ongoing commitment to Kingsmead Leisure Centre, Active Life has just completed a major investment in a stunning new gym and cycle studio at Kingsmead Leisure Centre. The £250,000 investment includes over a hundred new items of the latest user friendly gym and fitness equipment most of which incorporate screens and headphone sockets so you can watch TV or listen to your favourite music whilst training.
‘The new gym is absolutely superb and is probably the best facility in the region and really underpins Active Life’s commitment to the Kingsmead site’ said General Manager Jonathan Wake ‘One of the distinctive things about the Kingsmead gym is that we always have qualified staff on hand to help ensure you get the most out of your training whether you are a complete beginner or a dedicated and experienced fitness enthusiast. If you wish your personal workouts can even be saved to a memory stick for viwing and monitoring at home via the Life Fitness website virtual trainer. As with all Active Life facilities, the new gym is open to the public from early until late and is already proving to be a big hit with everyone who has used it. Regular users may benefit from joining one of the various low cost membership available that start from as little as £16 a month. To mark its opening, until the end of April, anyone interested in trying the gym and all the other Active Life facilities available across the district can buy a £10 for 10 day All Inclusive, Anytime Pass from any Active Life Centre
