WHICH MEMBERSHIP?
You do not need to be a member to use our facilities, but if you are a regular user then you will benefit from one of our great membership schemes.
Whichever category of membership you choose, you can use it at any of our five facilities at: The Kingsmead Leisure Centre in Canterbury, Whitstable Sports Centre and Whitstable Swimming Pool, The Pier Sports Centre or, Herons Swimming Pool in Herne Bay. Each centre has a wide programme of activities with all age groups and abilities catered for.
FIVE STAR
Suitability: If you are a regular user participating twice a week, or more, you may find that our 5 Star membership will save you a lot of money.
Benefits: Unlimited use of Reflexions, dance studios, swimming and water fitness. Other activities are charged at the 4 Star rates. Other benefits include booking facilities, by phone up to 7 days in advance.
Cost:
Single Membership - £35.00 per month*
Family Membership - £49.00 per month*
Student Membership - £32.00 per month* (proof of full time student status is required)
*A joining fee of £25.00 applies. Minimum 6 month contract. Monthly payments are required by Direct Debit. 2 months cancellation notice applies. Short term memberships are available. Terms and conditions apply. Please contact your local centre for more details.
FOUR STAR
Suitability: If you are an occasional user you may find that an annual 4 Star membership saves you money.
Benefits: Significant activity discounts and booking facilities, by phone 7 days in advance.

Adult - £24.00 per year
Junior / Senior Citizen £15.00 per year
Family - 20% off any individual membership charges for all couples and family groupings, e.g.
1 Adult, 1 Child - £31.20 per year
1 Adult, 2 Children - £43.20 per year
1 Adult, 3 Children - £55.20 per year
2 Adults, 1 Child - £50.40 per year
2 Adults, 2 Children - £62.40 per year
2 Adults, 3 Children - £74.40 per year
2 Seniors, 1 Child - £36.00 per year

THREE STAR
Suitability: Available to full-time students and people on income support, pension credit, housing or council tax benefit. Proof of full-time student status or benefit eligibility is required to join the 3 Star membership scheme.
Benefits: Vastly reduced off-peak activity fees and booking facilities, by phone 7 days in advance.
THREE STAR/STUDENT ANNUAL

THREE STAR/STUDENT MONTHLY
This membership gives those that meet the 3 Star membership eligibility criteria Unlimited use of the swimming pools, water fitness, gymnasium, badminton, squash & Play Gym at off peak times. Please see timetable for available sessions.

60+/THREE STAR/STUDENT MONTHLY PLUS
This membership gives those that meet the 3 Star membership eligibility criteria all the benefits of the 3-Star/Student Monthly, plus unlimited fitness classes at off peak times. Please see timetable for available sessions.
