The Pier Sports Centre is a unique building located along Herne Bay seafront and out into the Thames Estuary. Along with offering fabulous gym, dance and sports facilities, the Pier is also home to the Herne Bay Roller Hockey Club, which are one of the best teams in the country. The Whitstable Sports Centre is currently closed for refurbishment until approximately January 2010. New changing rooms are being provided with an exciting new fitness suite including a gym and activity studio. Please look back nearer the time for more details. The Dance Studio and the Mind and Body studio both offer a range of exciting classes to get you fit and if that doesn't work, then the Reflexions Fitness Studio with its array of hi-tec equipment and trained instructors or the separate Cycle Studio will. The centre also boasts a crèche facility, multi-purpose sports hall, solarium and a cafè.
